Shrewsbury International Comedy Festival (SICFest) is a celebration of stand-up and stand-out performance — a place where fresh comedic voices and seasoned pros share the mic. Over the years, the festival has welcomed names like Greg Davies, Joe Lycett, Russell Kane, Flo and Joan, Adam Rowe, Troy Hawke and Thanyia Moore — a testament to its reputation for both high-profile talent and underground energy.
In recent festivals audiences have enjoyed performances from rising and distinctive acts like Abandoman, Lindsey Santoro, Tez Ilyas, Troy Hawke, Cally Beaton, Scott Bennett as well as beloved stalwarts such as Mick Miller — blending fresh Edinburgh-ready Work-in-Progress shows with polished stand-up sets.
Beyond the laughs, SICF nurtures its community. In 2023 it supported Shelter, helping provide assistance and advocacy for those facing homelessness. In 2024 the festival’s designated charity was Severn Hospice, supporting end-of-life and palliative care across Shropshire — and in 2025 the chosen charity was Lingen Davies, helping people affected by cancer across Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and Mid-Wales.
SICF invites you to be part of something bigger than a night of comedy: a celebration of laughter and community. Every ticket helps fuel future comedy and supports essential local services, turning humour into heartfelt impact.
