Alter-ego Clinton Baptiste is a world-class entertainer. Born out of Peter Kay’s Phoenix Nights, Alex Lowe’s hapless clairvoyant, medium and psychic Baptiste has become a well-loved character. Mesmerising and comical, Baptiste takes you on a journey through his life and beyond. Created from Lowe’s standup, Baptiste has gone on to tour throughout the UK. As his show “Clinton Baptiste The Paranormal Returns” sweeps the nation, Baptiste is capturing a new generation of fans.
A stage and screen performer, Lowe has been entertaining audiences for decades. From winning a First for his appearance in “The Hypochondriac” at the acclaimed Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Lowe has had a meteoric rise to fame. Lowe has had a plethora of comedic turns on shows such as “The Big Impression,” “The 11 O’Clock Show” and “Pompidou.” Beyond the small screen, Lowe has starred in the iconic Branaugh led “Much Ado About Nothing,” “Haunted” and “Peter’s Friends.” More recently, Lowe can be heard on Nickelodeon UK’s “Tinkershrimp & Dutch.” A natural comedian, Lowe has garnered a global audience for his witty and provocative performances.
Best known for his work as Clinton Baptiste, Lowe reprised the role in the popular “Clinton Baptiste’s Paranormal Podcast.” Matched with his regular guest spot as Baptiste on “The Chris Moyles Show on Radio X,” Lowe has brought the character lovingly back to life.

Nina Gilligan is sometimes outrageous, always hilarious with a charming, loveable persona which belies an acerbic wit.
Nina is a skilled writer, creator, and improviser and has written several comedy shows and plays including ‘Rescued’ Nominated for Best Comedy at Greater Manchester Fringe and ‘Broad Shoulders’ receiving 5-star reviews at the 2019 Edinburgh Festival as well as Late Developer 2022 and Goldfish 2024
She trained as an actor at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama (now The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland) she received the award for best actor in her final year.
Equally at home in clubs and art centre’s, Nina is headlining, and hosting the best gigs and corporate / fundraising events. Recently acknowledged as Comics Comic in Jan 2025, 2023’s Best Act at both the Chortle and North West Comedy Awards and 2021 saw her crowned as the WINNER of the prestigious Leicester Mercury Award after also Winning Liverpool Hot Water and being a finalist in English Comedian of The Year in previous year’s.
