Eric Rushton – WIP

Eric Rushton is an award-winning comedian, writer and actor.
Eric was the recipient of the first ever Channel 4 Sean Lock Award in 2023 and won Leicester Mercury Comedian Of The Year in 2020.
TV credits include ITV2’s The Stand Up Sketch Show and BBC3’s Such Brave Girls. He has also been part of the Channel 4 Digital series, A Comedy Thing.
As well as performing, Eric is a talented writer and has written for The Last Leg, Late Night Lycett and 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown.
In 2025, Eric went on a sold-out tour with his show, The Real One, after a critically-acclaimed run at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2024. He took his first show with Chambers, Innkeeper, to the Fringe in August 2025, with multiple sold out shows and excellent reviews. Eric is currently on a tour of the UK & Ireland with Innkeeper.
